About Kedarkantha Trek

Situated in Western Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarkashi, Kedarkantha Trek starts from Sankri in Uttarakhand which is one of the best trekking places in India.The total Kedarkantha trek distance is 23 Kms.

The highlights of the Kedarkantha trek are the beautiful campsites, snow-covered pine forests, 360-degree view of the mountains and the chance to stand on top of one of the easiest trekkable peaks in the Himalayas.

Trek Itinerary:

Day 1: Dehradun to Hotel in Naugaon
Day 2: Naugaon to Sankri to Juda-ka-Talab
Day 3: Juda-ka-Talab to Kedarkantha base
Day 4: Kedarkantha base to Kedarkantha Peak || Back to Naugaon
Day 5: Naugaon to Dehradun / Rishikesh
Note: We will guide in arranging transportation from Delhi, Ahmedabad,Mumbai,Pune

Day 1: Dehradun to Naugaon

Report at Dehradun Airport before 12 PM
Distance: 150 KM || 5 to 6 hrs
Altitude: Dehradun (2,087 ft) to Naugaon (5,100 ft)
The journey is very scenic, where the drive curves through a dense pine forest Throughout the journey, you will be traversing the mountains and Yamuna and the river of Tons which makes the journey a very beautiful experience. On the way, you can halt at a few places to take really good photographs.
Stay: Naugaon (Hotel - 3 or 4 sharing)

Day 2: Naugaon to Sankri to Juda-ka-Talab

Drive: 70 KM || 2 to 3 hrs
Trek distance: 4 KM || 5 hrs
Altitude: Sankri (6,455 ft) to Juda-ka-Talab (9,311 ft)
We will be passing through dense pine forest, maple trees, natural streams and beautiful meadows
Stay: Juda-ka-Talab (Tented - 3 sharing)

Day 3: Juda-ka-Talab to Kedarkantha Base

Trek distance: 4 KM || 3 hrs
Altitude: Juda-ka-Talab (9,311 ft) to Kedarkantha Base (11,253 ft)
We trek on the ridge under oak trees. We will see the peaks: Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Kala Nag and Ranglana stand among the others
Stay: Kedarkantha base (Tented - 3 sharing)

Day 4: Kedarkantha Base to Kedarkantha Peak Via Hargaon || Back to Naugaon

Trek distance: 9 KM || 7 hrs
Drive: 70 KM || 2 to 3 hrs
Altitude: Kedarkantha Base (11,253 ft) to Kedarkantha peak (12,500 ft); descend to Sankri
We'll be enjoying the view at the summit and descend back to the base camp by the afternoon for lunch Post Lunch we will decend to sankari.
Stay: Naugaon (Hotel - 3 or 4 sharing)

Day 5: Drive back to Dehradun

Distance: 150 KM || 5 to 6 hrs
Post breakfast, we will head back to Dehradun with lifelong experience and beautiful photos via the same route we came. We will reach Dehradun by 2PM in the noon.

Drive towards Rishikesh || Drive: 45km || 1 hour
Stay: Rishikesh (Homestay - 3 or 4 sharing)

Day 6: Rafting in Rishikesh

Rafting activity will be completed before 1pm

Booking Policy

• Booking shall only be confirmed once received part/full payments
• 30% advance amount while confirmation
• 70% balance amount minimum 14 days prior to trip date

Cancellation Policy

• 100% refund 28days prior to trip date exclusive of GST
• 30% cancellation charges if cancellation done between 28 to 14 days prior or Full amount can be transferred to any of our upcoming event in next 2 month, but can not be transfered to another participant
• 70% cancellation charges if cancellation done between 14 to 7 days prior or 50% amount can be transferred to any of our upcoming event in next 2 month, but can not be transfered to another participant
• Fees are neither refundable nor transferable if cancellation done, less than 7 days prior to event date

Precautionary Measures for Covid19

• Wearing mask or face cover and carrying personal hand sanitizer is compulsory.
• During hiking, sights scene, travelling or any activities, avoid/minimize physical touch.
• Separate transportation services will be provided or you can choose to drive on your own to the campsite/homestay or base location.
• Group transportation in bus or tempo traveler will be arranged for fix departure date without violating any government guideline.
• Necessary hygiene and precautions will be taken care at the campsite and during Activities.
• If you are feeling unwell due to fever or any medical reason, than strictly avoid travel till you feel well.
